Understands core DeFi primitives: AMM, lending/borrowing, liquid staking. Interacts with Uniswap and Aave via SDK. Analyzes DeFi protocol transactions in block explorer.
Understands L2 concepts: optimistic rollups (Optimism, Arbitrum) and zk-rollups (zkSync, StarkNet). Deploys L2 node on testnet and studies gas model and finality differences between L1 and L2.
Writes unit tests for contracts via Hardhat or Foundry. Tests basic flows: deploy, mint, transfer, revert. Uses console.log in Hardhat and forge test for debugging.
